    CHENEY – Council voted unanimously to approve Ordinance Y-39 at their regular meeting on Feb. 14. This ordinance approves the vacation of an alleyway located between two properties in the Reservoir addition of the city. Y-39 proceeds from the application of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Charley Hough, to vacate the alleyway for the purposes of building a new medical facility.     CHENEY – A local auto sales company, C&S Automotive, has closed its doors. At time of publication, a sign noting that this is a temporary closure was posted on the premises. According to the Better Business Bureau, C&S Enterprises Partnership is doing business as C&S Automotive, and was started in 2019.     MEDICAL LAKE – A patient on a civil commitment at Eastern State hospital walked away from the facility on the evening of Feb. 7, according to a Spokane County sheriff’s department press-release.
