Eastern women fall to Idaho

The Eastern Washington women fell behind early and were not able to keep up with Idaho Feb. 11 losing a Big Sky Conference basketball 88-64 in game at the Idaho Central Credit Union Arena.

Trailing 41-28 at the half, Idaho went on a 7-0 run but Eastern would counter with a 9-0 burst to cut the lead down to 48-37 with 4:43 left in the quarter. The Eagles would later get within 51-41 but no closer.

Jaleesa Lawrence scored 21 points to lead the Eagles while Aaliyah Alexander had 12 and Jamie Loera 11.
