If getting that first win under its belt always makes a team feel good then the Cheney girls' tennis team is flying pretty high right about now.
Cheney eliminated the goose egg in the left hand win column in a big way last week, notching home victories over Deer Park and Riverside to even their season Great Northern League mark at 2-2. The Blackhawks got solid play from their doubles teams to down the Stags 4-3 last Tuesday, and then finished the week with sound play all around to blank Riverside 7-0 on Thursday.
