Anna Marie (Albertson) Burnham

November 19, 1978 - April 16, 2024

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anna Marie (Albert son) Burnham. Anna peacefully gave up her courageous battle with an illness at the age of 45 with her husband and son beside her on April 16, 2024.

We now celebrate her life and rejoice as she is welcomed into Paradise by her Heavenly Father, and all her loved ones who have preceded her. Anna was born Nov. 29, 1978, in Spokane, Wash., to David M. and Mary Ellen (Peters) Albertson. She was raised in Marshall, Wash., and at tended Windsor Elementary School, Marshall Christian Academy and Cheney High School.

While in high school, she also attended beauty school at the Glenn Dow Academy in Spokane, graduating from both in 1997. Anna worked at the Crescent department store in Spokane during the holiday season, and in the deli at the Latah Tidymans grocery store while attending school.

After earning her cosmetology license, she opened her own salon for a short time in the Spokane Valley.

She then decided to move back to Cheney, where for the next 25 years she was a hairstylist at Imperial Styling.

While Anna was working full time as a stylist, she also worked for three years as a teach er, trainer and artist for Matrix/Loreal, traveling locally, nationally and internationally. Anna dearly loved all her clients, many of whom became close friends.

She also loved sharing her vast knowledge about the business; teaching and mentoring her fellow stylists. Anna truly loved her craft and profession! Anna was very involved taking care of her Grandma Peters, and especially fuladdition to the bare ground in the garden.

Anna enjoyed styling her hair every week, something she began doing while still in beauty school.

Anna was both excited and proud when she purchased her own home in Cheney, not long into her career.

She met her husband, Brady Burnham, through a client and was married in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, on June 29, 2006. Their son, Chance was born Oct. 23, 2008. Anna truly loved be ing a mama to her son above all else!

She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, listening to music, watching M*A*S*H and Giligans Island, going on road trips, and watching the rain, lightening and thunderstorms. Her favorite past-time was spent with Brady and Chance at local lakes, boating and jet-skiing, Anna loved the water!

Anna had the biggest heart and much compassion and empathy for others. She was always a caretaker, and put her family, friends and clients first. A huge animal lover, she cared for all kinds, and really had too many to list.

Anna is survived by her husband of 17 years, Brady John Burn ham; son, Chance Jeffery Burnham; mother, Mary Ellen (Peters) Albertson; sister, Randi (Albertson) Blackman; nephew, Ezekiel Albertson; Patricia Flores; and many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to list. She was preceded in death by her father, David M. Albertson.

A Celebration of Life, service and reception will be at 6 p.m. June 5, 2024 at Hayford Community Church, 5306 South Hayford Road, Spokane, Wash. All Are Welcome!
