    AIRWAY HEIGHTS – A local man has been arrested in connection with an alleged driveby shooting thursday, Jan. 25. Trayvin Pibble, 20, was arrested by police and booked into the Spokane County Jail. Pibble faces charges of domestic violence and drive-by shooting, records show. He’s since been released from jail. His arrest stems from a Jan. 25 incident near the intersection of King Street and Third Avenue.     AIRWAY HEIGHTS – A local couple accused of killing their daughter and transporting her body across the country has been set for March. Aleksander Kurmoyarov, 30, and Mandie Miller, 34, will be tried in connection with the alleged unlawful imprisonment and killing of 8-year-old Meelah Miller in December 2022.     CHENEY – Local police successfully resolved an alleged “suicide-by-cop” attempted in the early morning hours of Jan. 24. Asahel Chavez, 21, was arrested following the incident and booked into the Spokane County Jail. He is facing charges of first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree malicious mischief, seven counts of discharging a firearm and seven counts of reckless endangerment.
