Miss Cheney Rodeo crowned

CHENEY - The Cheney Rodeo has new royalty. Whitney Bjornberg was selected as Miss Cheney Rodeo during a Feb. 22 pageant.

Bjornberg was selected as the next queen after speech and horsemanship competitions.

Bjornberg will be officially crowned at a ceremony next month; details have yet to be announced.

As Miss Cheney Rodeo, Bjornberg will reign over the Cheney Rodeo and related events. She will also represent the city at rodeos across the region.
