Medical Examiner releases IDs

SPOKANE VALLEY — The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the identifications of two individuals who died earlier this month.

Nathaniel Byers, 16, was killed by a “penetrating gunshot wound” to the head on March 8, the office reported. The shooting occurred on South Bowdish Road.

Officials said the death is the result of a homicide.

Four people believed to have been involved in the shooting have been arrested on unrelated offenses.

In another report, the Medical Examiner identified Christopher Wojciechowski, 36; he died from cold-weather exposure, a report said....
