CHENEY — Police responded to the following calls for service from March 18-25:

March 18

A firearm was stolen during a vehicle prowl in the 1400 block of Second Street.

Jennifer Howerton, 41, was arrested in the 300 block of Erie Street for violation of an anti-harassment order.

Credit and debit cards, and a license were stolen in the 1000 block of West First Street.

A social security card, driver’s license and bank cards were stolen during a vehicle prowl in the 1400 block of Second Street.

Pots and pans, a vehicle registration and insurance card was stolen in the 100 block of College Hill.

Patio furniture was stolen in the 2200 block of Sunrise Street.

Juveniles harassing each other in the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Driver arrested by citation for third-degree driving while license suspended in the 900 block of First Street.

March 19

Police observed a man pointing a gun at a large dog, which was attacking his two small dogs. The man was bitten by the large dog, whose owner was provided with SCRAPES bite protocol in the 200 block of West Second Street.

Juvenile with mental health crisis placed into protective custody in the 300 block of Cocolalla Street.

Ericka Young, 22, arrested for driving while under the influence in the 1000 block of Betz Road.

A subject cut a hole into the top of the roof of a car and stole several items of clothing in the 2700 block of Al Ogdon Way.

March 20

Spare change stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of West Third Stird.

Theft of a vehicle registration, insurance card and receipts were stolen on the 300 block of Sixth Street.

Theft from a local store, possible suspects have been identified on the 2200 block of First Street.

March 21

Deborah Grall arrested for violation of a court order in the 800 block of West First Street.

U-Hauls were damaged by drill holes made by gas tanks in the 100 block of West First Street.

March 22

Juvenile with mental health crisis placed into protective custody in the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Matthew Beaver, 32, arrested for violation of a domestic violence protection order in the 200 block of South Cheney Plaza Road.

Juvenile arrested for assaulting another juvenile in the 500 block of Clay Street.

Shoes were stolen from a front porch in the 500 block of Second Street.

A driver failed to yield and caused a collision, only minor injuries occurred on the 200 block of South Cheney Spangle Road.

Jeffrey Brodin arrested third-degree theft.

March 24

Jakob Aguilar, 25, arrested for fourth-degree assault-domestic violence in the 200 block of Betz Road.

Person broke a vehicle window, assaulted a Spokane Transit Authority guard and assaulted a police in the 200 block of West First Street.

Eastern Washington University

CHENEY — Eastern Washington University police responded to the following calls for service from March 19-26:

March 19

1:14 a.m. – Liquor violation, referred to SRR at Pearce Hall.

March 22

5:48 a.m. — Suspicious incident, no location provided.

MEDICAL LAKE — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls for service from March 20-26:

6:07 a.m. — Argument at 821 N. Stanley St.

9:10 a.m. — Medical call at 850 W. Maple St.

11:03 a.m. — Assault at 850 W. Maple St.

1:34 p.m. — Abuse reported at 708 E. Grace St.

2:21 p.m. — Drugs at 2320 South Salnave Road.

3:32 p.m. — Suspicious circumstances at 850 W. Maple St.

4:40 p.m. — Shooting at 404 S. Jefferson St.

5:30 p.m — Medical call at 827 E. Ladd St.

8:31 p.m. — Fire at 106 S. Hallett St.

Airway Heights

AIRWAY HEIGHTS — Police arrested the following individuals from March 22-26:

March 22

Angela N. Mycock arrested for third-degree theft (shoplifting) in the 12800 block of West Highway 2.

Rudy G. Parsons arrested for third-degree theft (shoplifting) in the 1200 block of South of Hayford Road.
