Eastern teams on the court

CHENEY — Eastern Washington University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams play common opponents this week, but on opposite ends of the map.

The Eagle men are on the road with an 11-2 Big Sky Conference record and a two-game lead over Northern Colorado (9-4). Eastern is at Northern Arizona, Feb. 22, and in Greeley to face UNC, Feb. 24.

The Eastern women (21-5 overall) will try to top the program’s all-time single season win mark Feb. 22 against Northern Arizona at home.
