Man killed in Airway Heights

AIRWAY HEIGHTS – One man was killed and another arrested after an 8:41 p.m. shooting Sunday night, Feb. 4, in the 1700 block of South Campbell Street.

Wyatt Walker, 28, died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was expected to be in court for his first appearance on Tuesday.

One of the men pepper-sprayed Bullard, who then started firing his gun, records show, noting one of the men was hit.

Efforts to save the victim’s life were initiated by officers until medical personnel reached the location, records show. Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
