CHENEY – The freezing cold weather will transition into slightly warmer weather this week, going from lows in the single digits to lows of around 27 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Two rounds of snow were predicted this week — the first Tuesday night to Wednesday morning, the agency reported, noting 3-5 inches of snow was expected. On Wednesday night, 4-6 inches more was expected.
But the weather is forecast to warm, National Weather Service meteorologist Steve Bodnar said. Mixed precipitation of freezing rain and sleet were forecast for Friday and Saturday.
By Sunday the low temperature will be 32 degrees and rain is expected, he said.
