Donation jars stolen from McDonald's

GEIGER HEIGHTS — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in finding burglars who stole money from Ronald McDonald House donation jars at several McDonald’s restaurants Friday, Jan. 5.

The McDonald’s at 10511 W. Aero Road was among those hit, the Sheriff’s Office reported. Deputies were called there at 4:59 a.m. after the drive-through window was smashed. Three Spokane Valley McDonald’s were also targeted.

At each location, burglars broke window-door glass, damaged the boxes and took money..

Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call Crime Check at 509-45...
