Airway Heights passes infrastructure projects

Airway Heights is gearing up for a series of transformative infrastructure projects, as discussed in the recent City Council meeting on Monday, December 4, 2023.

Public Works Director Kevin Anderson took the floor, outlining crucial developments that encompassed engineering work orders, roadway improvements, and a strategic water reclamation initiative on 6th Avenue.

The City Council overwhelmingly passed proposals facilitating the extension of contracts and the authorization of bids.

A notable milestone was reached when Shamrock Paving secured approval for a roadway improvement bid.

Anderson stressed, “This is a housekeeping item. WC3 is our contractor for overflow overview. We want to extend that contract again,” emphasizing the continuity of crucial partnerships in these development efforts.

These projects are poised to not only improve the city’s physical landscape but also contribute to the overall quality of life for Airway Heights residents.

As the city progresses with these endeavors, residents can anticipate smoother transportation, enhanced water management, and more resilient infrastructure.
