Jury found Stephen H. Yohler guilty on all counts

Spokane Valley- Stephen H. Yohler 21, was found guilty on multiple charges by jury on November 21st. Charged with the counts of aggravated murder first degree, murder first degree with aggravating circumstances.

Yohler was also charged with conspiracy to commit murder first degree, with a firearm enhancement found, and tampering with a witness.

According to reports on March 29, 2021, Yohler asked Daisy Redthunder who was 17, to lure Preston Grzogorek who was 15 at the time, out of the Village apartments in the 9700 block of east Sixth Avenue.

Records show Yohler was waiting with a nine millimeter handgun that was used to kill Grzogorek.

Yohler is a member of the 18th Street, Blue devil Street gang according to reports.

He was arrested on May sixth, 2021. After member of the U.S Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task force visually located Yohler at 500 block of South Coach in Spokane Valley.

He was booked into the County Jail where he currently remains. Wall in jail Yohler received gang tattoos for the 18th Street gang from the result of the murder reports say.

During his testimony at trial he acknowledges his affiliation in the local 18th Street chapter.

Yohler is scheduled to return to sentencing to the Spokane County Court on February eighth of 2024.

On May Eighth of 2021, Redthunder was arrested in Nevada for assisting the murder and was extradited back to Spokane County for trial.

The lead investigator for this murder was Dean Meyer working alongside the Spokane Valley Major Crimes Unit.

The case was successfully prosecuted by Spokane County Prosecutor office Chief criminal Deputy Preston McCollam, help by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Katie McNulty.
