PASCO – Medical Lake's boys and girls cross country teams will resume their chase of the Lakeside Eagles, and others, Nov. 4, at the WIAA state championships at Sun Willows Gold Course.
The Cardinals claimed second place finishes Oct. 27 at the Chewelah Golf and Country Club in the District 7 championships, earning one of two team berths this Saturday.
"(They are) totally exceeding expectations," head coach Gene Blankenship said after Medical Lake was edged by Lakeside 53-62 in the boys' race and 38-53 in girls.
