Mobile meth lab found during bust

SPOKANE VALLEY - Two convicted felons are arrested for distribution and position of a controlled substance, two fire arms, and a suspected mobile meth lab.

Christopher. M. Gibbs, 48, was charged for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and sits in Spokane County Jail with a $100,000 bond set by Spokane County Superior Court Judge J. High-Edward

Gibbs was also charged with three counts of drug possession, and two counts of illegally being in possession of a gun.

Alexandra. J. Slack, 28, was arrested and booked into and remains in Spokane County Jail for a warrant and misdemeanor trespassing.

Gibbs was suspected of selling Fentanyl laced pills and other illicit drugs by the Regional Street Crime Unit.

Gibbs and Slack had been staying at The Red Top Hotel, 7217 E Trent Ave in Spokane Valley.

Morning of October 25, 2023, patrol deputies and swat team served the two felons with a search warrant of hotel room and Gibbs car.

During the search investigators had found a loaded Raven Arms .25 semi-automatic pistol, a pump action 20 guage shotgun, and ammunition.

A drug ledger, cell phone, various prescription/fake prescription pills. Heroin, $113, suspected Cocaine, suspected Fentanyl-laced pills, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

They also found a suspected mobile methamphetamine lab.

The suspected mobile meth lab was set to the Washington State Department of Ecology to properly test and dispose of.

This is still active investigation where additional arrest and charges are possible according to officials.
