Set scores were 17-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-23,16-14.

Kendall Denny led Liberty with 20 digs, 15 kills, 8 assists, 5 aces and 2 blocks.

Devyn Cook added 11 kills and 3 blocks; Brooke redder had 20 assists and Zoe Omlin 20 digs and 2 aces.

Chloe Hammond led the Gorillas with 10 kills and 5 aces; teammates Naomi Rainwater had 9 kills and Faith Bell and Koda Coffman had 17 and 15 assists, respectively.

Eagles drop conference home-opener

CHENEY — Eastern Washington volleyball could not utilize its home court advantage Sept. 23, falling to Montana 3-0 at Reese Court.

Kate Hatch led the Eagles with two aces while Tanai Jenkins set a career-high with seven kills .

The Eagles fall to 0-2 in the Big Sky and 6-8 on the season overall. Eastern is back on the road to play Idaho State on Sept. 28 and Weber State on Sept. 30.
