SPOKANE VALLEY – Spokane Valley Deputies have made an arrest in connection with a hit-and-run incident that took place on E Mission Avenue near N Bowman road on September 18.

20-year-old Jack R. Evolsen was identified after calling 911, 20 minutes after striking the victim.

Evolsen was arrested for second degree assault and causing a hit-and-run injury.

The incident occurred when an adult male pedestrian was struck by Evolsen's silver Ford truck. Eyewitnesses and the victim reported that the driver slowed and stopped at the crosswalk.
