Coat drive underway

CHENEY — The Helping Cheney

Community Coat Drive is underway.

Residents can donate new coats

until Oct. 22 at local schools, churches

and businesses.

Free coats in all sizes will be available

from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday,

Oct. 28, at the Wren Pierson Community

Center.

A second distribution will be at Feed

Cheney on Monday, Oct. 30 from 5:30-

6:30 p.m. also at Wren Pierson. There are

no requirements to receive a coat.

Book club to meet

The Cheney Book Club will be meeting

on Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. and will be

discussing The Dutch House by Ann

Patchett.
