RITZVILLE – New Eastern Washington University President Shari McMahan took time out of her scheduled last week to see the Adams County wheat harvest first-hand.

McMahan visited Sen. Mark Schoesler's farm, the 9th Legislative District senator said.

"I gave her and EWU's executive director of government relations, David Buri, an assessment of this summer's harvest and showed them around the farm," said Schoesler, R-Ritzville.

Schoesler represents Adams, Whitman, Lincoln, south Spokane and other counties as part of the 9th District.
