Community support should be commended

The community should be commended for its support of our propositions to improve library and fire services in Airway Heights in the Aug. 1 primary election.

Because of residents, we will be able to keep our local library open, maintain funding for four full-time firefighters to respond to higher call volumes and renovate a facility to include a fire station.

We’re grateful our community sees the value of supporting our library and public safety. We will continue to report back to you as we make progress on the projects we promised.
