MEDICAL LAKE — Fire teams from Fire Districts 3, 10, and 8, along with firefighters from the Airway Heights, Spokane, and Fairchild Air Force Base fire response teams quelled a bush fire on the west side of Clear Lake, south of Medical Lake on July 2.

At about 7 p.m. crews arrived to contain the fire and evacuations were put in place for the surrounding area.
