Crash on Upriver Drive causes serious injuries

The driver of this garbage truck swerved to miss another car during a crash and ended up going over a retaining wall and crashing into multiple cars.

SPOKANE VALLEY - A man driving a white Ford Taurus was seriously injured when he crashed trying to pass vehicles on the shoulder of Upriver Drive on June 13. Spokane County Deputies responded to the crash at 2:30 p.m.

The driver of the Taurus was transported to the hospital with severe, possibly life threatening injuries.

A garbage truck was also involved and crashed into several parked cars at Pasadena Park Elementary School. Nobody was in those vehicles, but the truck driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for further care.
