David Phillip Court, beloved son, brother and father passed from this life on Fri., June 2, 2023.

David was born in Seattle, Wash. at Swedish Hospital on Oct. 9, 1962.  He was the second oldest son of Alfred James Court (deceased) and Helen Juanita (Hartwick) Court.  David was an avid sports addict and was the kicker on his high school football team. He was also the assistant manager of the basketball team.  David graduated from Cheney High school in 1980 and went on to graduate from Spokane Community College. David then attended the University of Oregon studying Agronomy.  David had many amazing talents; he could listen to a song and play it on the piano and also create amazing floral arrangements. He was a master carpenter who designed and built his creations.

David married Elizabeth (Beth) Jones, and gained a step daughter Megan and added David Phillip Court Jr to their family.  David and Beth divorced and within a few years he moved to Yakima, Wash. where he found his passion in life of farming and caretaking.  David's limited leisure time was given to his animals and fishing.  David was very compassionate and giving and did not hesitate to reach out a helping hand to those in need. His generosity and love for his fellow man was well known by family, friends, and neighbors.

David worked for Long Ranch in Naches and took great pride in keeping the ranch beautiful, and loved his time spent there.

David is reunited with his father and two brothers Alfred James (Jim) Jr., April 24, 2020 and Reyman Alan Feb. 24, 1995 who proceeded him in death.  David is survived by his mother and sister Catherine, his son David and step daughter Megan, and numerous other family members.  David was loved and loving and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
