SPOKANE — Marketing and public affairs has scheduled a topping out ceremony at the Spokane International Airport for the Concourse C Expansion Project. It will take place on April 20 at 11 a.m. at Spokane International Airport.

A topping out ceremony, according to the marketing director, is a construction tradition that occurs when the final structural beam is raised and placed.

“This will be an opportunity for you to sign the final piece of structural steel of the project’s initial phase before it is set and be a part of the Airport’s history,” Todd Woodard said.
