SPOKANE – A structure fire on West Maxs Road, east of Assembly Lane, was reported on Thursday Feb. 23.

At about 4:30P.M., dispatch informed personnel at Fire District 3 of a structure fire involving one residence in the Geiger Heights area.

Fire District 3 dispatched 8 fire trucks and accompanying fire fighters to the scene. Upon arrival, command staff upgraded incident to a working attic fire, as a result of visible fire and smoke coming from the building.
