CHENEY - The City is accepting applications to fill two vacant positions on the Cheney Historic Preservation Commission. The Commission is the appointed body charged with identifying and encouraging conservation of the community’s cultural resources. Members of this board are appointed by the Mayor to three year terms. The current openings fill the remaining one year of a term that was vacated, and would be eligible for reappointment to a 3-year term in January 2024, and an open position which runs until January 2026.
