CHENEY - Cheney Congregational Church invites the community to join them this Sunday as they continue their series titled “Baby Talk.”

“We’re exploring what we can learn about God and being human from the experiences of a baby, this week seeing what we can learn about prayer from a baby’s attempts at learning to communicate.

This Sunday, February 12, we will have a Souper Bowl potluck after church at 11am. All are welcome.

We are starting a new Bible study on Thursdays from 1-2pm in partnership with the United Methodist Church, beginning February 2. All are welcome.

We are a community of neighbors who seek and serve Jesus and who strive to create a place where anyone, regardless of their sexuality, gender expression or race can find community and feel welcomed. We hold as a permanent conviction that each person is treasured in the eyes of God. We welcome and stand with all who gather into the safety and fellowship of our community. No matter where you are on your journey through life, you are welcome here!

We welcome you to join us on Sunday mornings for in-person worship at 10am and fellowship time afterwards. Masks are optional. Kids have their own “Discovery Team Time” during our services.

Cheney Congregational Church has started a free pantry just outside the front doors of the church. Please feel free to take or leave food for yourself and others.

We are also involved with Feed Cheney for a free meal and grocery distribution which will be on Monday, February 27th at 5:30 at the Wren Pierson building in Cheney located at 615 4th st. No documentation or demonstration of need required.

CHENEY - Mission Aviation Fellowship is an aviation ministry that has been serving isolated people for over 75 years. Luke and Amy Nelson are preparing to serve in the south-African nation of Lesotho. Luke will serve as a pilot/mechanic; reaching out to isolated communities living in Lesotho’s rugged high-lands to provide medical care and access to the gospel.

Amy will be home with their two children and hopes to share her faith with their neighbors through relationship building. They need an additional $1,800/month in order to be fully funded before moving overseas. To join their team as a prayer or financial partners you can visit Luke and Amy’s web page: [maf.org/missionaries/lnelson] maf.org/
