Stinson’s 27 paces Cheney boys
It’s just six games into the 2022-23 schedule and the Cheney boys’ basketball team has equaled its win total from the previous season following a 53-43 non-league win over Southridge from Kennewick.
Led by the 27 points from Evan Stinson, the Blackhawks (4-2) led just 20-15 at halftime but used a 20-7 third quarter to get a big lead and withstand a Suns rally in the final quarter. Jakeb Vallance added 10 points for Cheney.
