Spokane prosecuting attorney issues warrant for Airway Heights criminals

AIRWAY HEIGHTS - Spokane county prosecutor's office has filed a warrant which charges Aleksander Kurmoyarov and Mandie R. Miller with unlawful imprisonment, first degree criminal mistreatment, and second degree murder.

According to the Mitchell, SD police department, Kurmoyarov (28) and Miller (33) were arrested on Dec. 15 after the Davison county coroner informed them that the pair were traveling through the city from Airway Heights with the body of their deceased daughter in a U-Haul tow-behind trailer.

Airway Heights Lieutenant Jacob Keith is the lead investigator on this case in Washington. He said "The only update I can give out is that, in addition to the charges in South Dakota that they received, they are being detained by our department for homicide by abuse pending an arrest warrant and investigation."

They will continue to be held in South Dakota pending extradition to Washington State.
