Anne Marie Habegger of Cheney, Wash., born Apr. 20, 1931, passed away on Oct. 27, 2022 after a brief hospitalization.
Anne Marie was born and raised in Illinois and graduated from Wheaton College with an Elementary Education teaching degree. Married in 1955, she and her husband moved to WA State and Anne enjoyed a successful 35 year teaching career with Seattle Public Schools.
Anne Marie had a delightful outgoing gentle spirit, loved teaching and learning, and participating in activities with her many friends and family. She loved nature and the outdoors, cross country skiing, and traveling on new adventures. Above all, Anne had a deep faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Anne is survived by her son Scott (Toni), daughter Julie, 3 grandchildren, her sister, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A reception to celebrate Anne's life will be held at Cheney Faith Center, Nov. 17, at 1:30 PM.
