Pass-free days slated for 2023

OLYMPIA – In accordance with state law, government agencies have announced the 2023 free-access days.

Under the law creating the Discover Pass – a fee-based pass to access taxpayer-owned lands managed by Washington State Parks and some area managed by the state Department of Natural Resources and Department of Fish and Wildlife – 12 free-access days are to be designated annually.

In 2023, the pass-free days are Jan. 1 and 16; March 9 and 19; April 22; June 10, 11 and 19; Sept. 23; Oct. 10; and Nov. 11 and 24.
