Church to start choir

CHENEY – Cheney United Methodist Church is starting choir open to all singers in the community.

“If you like to sing and don’t want it to be just for the shower, CUMC choir is looking for you,” Pastor Damian Carruthers said Friday. “Our Christmas Cantata is coming up and singers of all varieties (really good, good, and not so good singers) are invited to participate.

The group will practice from 7-8:30 p.m. each Wednesday at the church, 204 Fourth St.
