Barbara Ann Pherson-Drake was born Nov. 18, 1956 to Ernest and Harriet (Carlson) Pherson in Fargo, ND at St. John's Hospital. Barbara was baptized by Rev. Gjerrnes (who also had baptized Barbara's mother). Barb attended elementary school at Horace Mann for K & 1st grade, then Washington Elementary for 2nd through 6th grade.
