AIRWAY HEIGHTS – The Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Airway Heights Day on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Sunset Park.

Airway Heights Day is both a fun-filled family event and a fundraiser, according to parks Director J.C. Kennedy

Although planning of the annual event has been difficult since the onset of the pandemic, the director said staff managed to pull it together.

“It gives the community a chance to come out and have fun at the local park,” he said.

Several area businesses and non-profits will be there, and the event includes fun activities for the whole family, Kennedy said...
