PORTLAND – Medical Lake varsity girls and boys cross country teams continue to run strong as both teams won first place in Division 3 during the Sept. 25 Nike Portland XC 2021 races.
The varsity girls race had a total of 134 runners between 18 teams, and the team placed first in part due to an incredible grouping as the team finished, according to Head Coach Gene Blankenship.
He said the 1:11 span between the and the fifth team finishers is an excellent spread to finish with.
