Redistricting committee seeks public input on commission realignment

SPOKANE — The Spokane County Independent Redistricting Committee is redrawing local county commissioner districts, increasing the number of commissioners from its current three to five due to the county’s population exceeding 400,000 residents.
The committee is seeking public input on the process, and is holding several public information meetings and hearings to gather residents thoughts.
