CHENEY - Can a restaurant be both eerily familiar and brand new? For longtime Cheney residents, driving by Lenny's Classic American Burgers is like a blast from the past - exactly the way General Manager Allan Gainer wanted it to be.
The restaurant that opened on June 11 is not the first version of Lenny's. It is not the second, either. Lenny's was originally opened by Lenny Martire in 1974. Martire made a name for himself by introducing Stromboli to Cheney and feeding the town until his retirement.
