Helen B. Jackson

Age 86 - Helen Jackson of Tyler, Wash. passed away Dec. 10, 2020. Helen Beverly Lamphier Jackson was born to Walt and Pauline Lamphier on March 1, 1934.

Helen graduated from Sprague High school in 1951. Helen and Leroy (Harold) were joined in marriage on Feb. 28, 1952. Helen and Harold had three sons and a daughter. Helen cherished, loved and gave everything she had to her children.

Helen was full of life and activities! If she wasn’t at home gardening, baking or playing the piano you could find her at church, Bunco or playing bridge with friends. Helen was a member of Beta Sigma Phi & spent time on the board as Vice President. Helen was also a devoted member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Cheney for the majority of her adult life and a longtime resident of Tyler.

Her love for all children resonated in her long career with Cheney School District as a bus driver and teachers aid. Helen had nothing but love in her heart for the entire world, but most of all she LOVED FAMILY!!

Helen is preceded in death by her husband Harold, Sons Vernon and William (Wild Billy), and sister Marjorie. Helen is survived by son Mike, daughter Tammie, nine grandkids, 12 great-grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins.
