SPOKANE--A scheduled debate between candidates for the 6th Legislative District House Pos. 1, featuring twice-incumbent Republican Mike Volz and challenger Zack Zappone, a Democrat, has been postponed after Volz fell ill earlier this week.
Volz began quarantining Monday and got tested for COVID-19 after showing symptoms, he said in an email. He said his test results came back negative today.
He added that he hopes to reschedule the debate for next week.
