Active shooter training March 5

Do you know what to do if you or your family are caught up in an active shooter situation?

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free active shooter survival training course on March 5 at Whitworth Presbyterian Church in North Spokane.

Admission is at 5:30 p.m. with the training running from 6 -- 8 p.m. The training is free and there will be a question and answer session at the conclusion.

The training is not recommended for teens under the age of 14. Teens between ages 14 and 17 are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.

Whitworth Presbyterian Church is located at 312 W. Hawthorne Road in Spokane, on the campus of Whitworth University.
