CHENEY -- The City Council will hold a public hearing on projects proposed for funding under the 2019 Community Development Block Grant program during its regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 22, beginning at 6 p.m.in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 609 2nd St.
The city of Cheney is a member of the Spokane County Community Development Block Grant Consortium, and has received several million dollars over the past 15-20 years in CDBG funding for street and utility project work. The public hearing is a required element of the city's public participation effort under the consortium agreement.
