Denny Harmon

Denny Harmon, 70, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Feb. 4, 2019.

He was born in Everett, Wash. on March 27, 1948. The family moved to Walla Walla after Denny’s birth. He graduated from Walla Walla High School and then moved to Cheney where he graduated from Eastern Washington State University with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. He worked his way through college as a drywaller.

Denny was a veteran. He joined the Army after college and served a tour in Germany. When he returned he started his business, Denny’s Quality Drywall, in Cheney.

Denny loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He has many friends and family in the Cheney area.

He is survived by brothers Jerry Harmon and spouse Sheila and John Harmon, sister Jan Grandenetti and spouse Gene, stepson Troy Damron and step daughter Cristina Buck. He was preceded in death by his wife Cindy, his mother Lena Lackey and father Ray Harmon Denny will truly be missed by his family and friends.

We love you Denny. You are now at peace.

A private memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date.
