Unexpected visitors

You never know what you are going to see at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. A flock of Great Egrets (also known as the common egret, large egret, great white egret or great white heron) were passing through Turnbull on their way south for the winter. A couple of them are still hanging around. They are a uncommon sight, and a great surprise for birdwatchers.
