Sept. 24
Truancy was reported on the 1700 block of Seventh Street. Nine students were returned to school.

A verbal argument between individuals in a parking lot was reported on the 100 block of West First Street.
A 15-year-old male was arrested on the 2700 block of First Street as a runaway out of Spokane.
Sept. 25
Second-degree theft was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A bicycle was taken.
A 16-year-old female was arrested for third-degree theft on the 1700 block of Sixth Street.
A civil dispute between roommates was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1600 block of Third Street.
Third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence was reported on the 500 block of Villard. A cellphone was damaged.
Sept. 26
A 16-year-old female was arrested for third-degree theft at Cheney High School. A cellphone was taken.
Sept. 27
Trespassing was reported on the 300 block of North Seventh Street.
A suicide attempt was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Subject was involuntarily committed.
Sept. 28
Trespassing was reported on the 100 block of West First Street.
A 17-year-old male was arrested at Cheney High School for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Possible theft or misplaced property was reported on the zero hundred block of West Fifth Street.
Cheney Police assisted Child Protective Services with an emergency placement at Windsor Elementary School.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of College Avenue. Textbooks were taken.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 2200 block of North Sixth Street.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
Sept. 29
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. A 14-year-old male was arrested. Four other suspects were involved, and additional charges are pending.
Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of First Street. Car parts were taken.
Sept. 30
A possible sexual assault was reported on the 100 block of Betz Road.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of North Sixth Street. A debit/credit account was accessed.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 800 block of First Street. Damage to a window.
A suicide attempt was reported on the 100 block of College Hill. Subject was voluntarily committed.
