INBC needs an average of 200 blood donors every day to meet the needs of more than 35 hospitals in the Inland Northwest. A single donation can save the lives of up to three people.

Free bingo for kids

The Knights of Columbus and St. Rose Catholic parish are sponsoring a free bingo for children kindergarten through fifth-grade on Saturday, Aug. 18, beginning at 1 p.m. at Betz Elementary School’s gymnasium.

First numbers are called at 1:30 p.m. A donation of one, non-perishable food item from each participating player is requested.

Prizes are school supplies needed for the upcoming Cheney School District school year. Every student is a winner — no one goes home without a prize.

All kids must be accompanied by a parent or supervisory adult, and all Cheney School District kids are welcome. Donations benefit the Cheney Food Bank.
