The Cheney High girls' tennis team lost a 4-3 heartbreaker of a Great Northern League match to Clarkston, April 24. Wins for the Blackhawks included No. 1 doubles Taylor Gould and Caitlyn Strong's 6-2, 7-5 victory against Kathryn Beurdman and Kylie Kemp No. 2 doubles Jasmine Daily and Nika Kauwe's 6-0, 6-0 sweep over their Clarkston opponents. No. 1 singles Bridget Calvert defeated Halle Berg (6-2, 7-5, 7-6, 10-8 tiebreaker) in a match that lasted three hours.
