March 6
Possible threat was reported at Cheney High School. An individual saw a Snapchat post showing an individual with the caption “Don’t come to school.”
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road. There was damage to a vehicle.
Forgery was reported on the 500 block of First Street. Counterfeit money was found.
CDs and a CD case were found on the 300 block of Second Street.
First-degree assault was reported on the 2300 block of First Street.
March 7
Possible child abuse was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 2200 block of North Sixth Street. An individual was threatened with computer viruses unless they provided a credit card to immediately pay for a remedy to the hacking — a practice known as “ransomware.”
Abdulkmaliq N. Al-Basri, 26, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 2800 block of Washington Street.
Forgery was reported on the 2300 block of First Street. Counterfeit money was found.
March 8
Possible sexual assault was reported through a fourth party on the 2600 block of Eaton Lane.
Financial fraud was reported on the 400 block of North Third Street. It was an eBay issue.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 2200 block of Hillside Drive. There was damage to a vehicle.
A possible child luring was reported on the 1000 block of Salnave Road.
Hunter M. Harper, 21, was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and DWLS 3 on the 1100 block of First Street.
March 9
Taking motor vehicle without owner’s permission was reported on the 3100 block of Normal Park Road. The vehicle was recovered on March 13 in Spokane.
Mental health issues were reported at Windsor Elementary School.
Disorderly conduct was reported on the 400 block of First Street.
March 10
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
Jordan C. Trujillo, 22, was arrested for domestic violence/ fourth-degree assault and obstructing on the 1000 block of Betz Road.
A credit card was found and turned in to the police department.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway.
Leon M. Mugo, 19, was arrested on the 2700 block of First Street for third-degree theft.
March 11
Financial fraud was reported on the 1800 block of West Second Street.
Alla Hussein Al Mohammed-Ali, 21, was arrested for harassment on the 1700 block of First Street.
March 12
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1600 block of Second Street.

March 7
Jamee Stearns, 28, was arrested for residential burglary and on a domestic violence protection order violation on the 100 block of North Prentis Street.
March 9
Incidents of physical abuse were reported on the 500 block of North Staples Street.
Assault was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.
Malicious mischief was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road. Vehicle doors were damaged.
A 16-year-old was arrested on the 200 block of East Barker Street for possession of drugs and a possession of a knife on school grounds.

Rape was reported on the 900 block of North Minnie Street.

An animal complaint was reported on the 500 block of North Walker Street.
