Batik artist Nichols Sironka's exhibit "Our Children, A Celebration of Our Lives" is on display at the Eastern Washington University downtown gallery until March 27. The exhibit includes Batik-style paintings and artifacts including a spear (seen here) and jewelry. Sironka, born in Narok in the Rift valley province of Kenya, is a member of the Maasai tribe and has exhibited and sold his art in Kenya, South Africa, the United States and Europe.
