Marvin Kenneth "Ken" Walker

Marvin Kenneth (Ken) Walker went home peacefully to be with the Lord on the evening of Jan. 22, 2017 with his fiancé Susie by his side.

Marvin was born July 29, 1951 in Pensacola, Fla. to Kenneth Jewell and Bobbi Ruth Walker and was the oldest of three boys. He is survived by his four daughters, Bobbi, Toni, Lisa and Tami, as well as a son Elijah, and two brothers, Johnny Walker and Shane Manthe.

Known to be a jack-of-all-trades throughout his life, Marvin was best known as a guitar player and singer, finding comfort in his music and service to others. He could be found at Celebrate Recovery in Medical Lake on Thursday nights and The Hayford Community Church on Sundays. He also played at the Cheney Care Community on many Saturdays for the residents, and for the last year-and-a-half at the Harrington Community Church on Sundays.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. at Harrington Community Church, 425 W. Main St. in Harrington.
